Important use note
Vitality Bone Particulate Allograft products are intended for single-patient use only. Once opened, the vial should be used for the current procedure or discarded according to proper clinical protocol.
Before application
- Use each vial for one patient only.
- Do not save opened product for a later procedure.
- Do not attempt to re-sterilize previously opened product.
- The exterior box is non-sterile and is used only to protect the product during shipment and storage.
- Always use sterile technique when preparing and applying Vitality Bone™ Particulate Allograft products.
- Keep additional product available in case more graft material is needed during the procedure.
3-step application overview
Step 1: Open
Open the package using sterile technique and inspect the vial, packaging, and labeling before use.
Step 2: Prepare
Prepare the graft material according to the clinician’s protocol and the applicable product instructions.
Step 3: Apply
Apply the graft material to the prepared surgical site using sterile handling and the clinician’s preferred grafting technique.
Before use checklist
- Confirm the correct Vitality Bone product and graft size.
- Inspect the vial, packaging, and labeling.
- Confirm sterile handling setup is ready.
- Prepare backup graft material if additional volume may be needed.
- Discard opened or unused product according to clinical protocol.
Do not use if
- The package appears damaged or compromised.
- The label information is missing, unclear, or inconsistent.
- The product has already been opened for a previous procedure.
- The product has been handled outside sterile technique.
