Vitality Bone Particulate Allograft products are intended for single-patient use only. Once opened, the product should be used for the current procedure or discarded according to proper clinical protocol.
General use instructions
- Use the product for a single patient only.
- Once the package has been opened, use the product for the current procedure or discard it.
- Do not save opened product for a later procedure.
- Do not attempt to re-sterilize previously opened product.
- Use sterile technique when preparing and transplanting Vitality Bone™ Particulate Allograft products.
- The exterior box is non-sterile and is used only to protect the product during shipment and storage.
- Always inspect packaging and labeling materials carefully before use.
- Additional product should be available in case more graft material is needed during the procedure.
Before use checklist
- Confirm the correct product and graft size for the procedure.
- Inspect the package and label before opening.
- Confirm sterile handling procedures are ready.
- Prepare backup product if additional graft volume may be required.
- Discard opened or unused product according to clinical protocol.
Do not use if
- The packaging appears damaged or compromised.
- The label information is unclear or inconsistent.
- The product has already been opened for a previous procedure.
- The product has been handled outside sterile technique.
